Efficient Windows Collaborative’s (EWC) Privacy Policy does not share any personal or financial information collected through this website, except as described in this Policy. When you provide information to us, we collect and use it solely for the purposes we have requested and as set forth herein.

Unless required or permitted by applicable law, we will not share, rent, or sell a contact or member’s (the “community user”) information without such community user’s prior authorization. When we disclose information to third parties, we will seek reasonable assurances from them that they will maintain the confidentiality of the collected data and treat it in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Our Security Protection

We employ safeguards and practices designed to preserve the confidentiality of our community users’ collected information by protecting against unauthorized access to or alteration, disclosure, or destruction of such data. Security measures may include internal reviews of our data collection, storage, and processing practices and physical security measures, including utilizing a secure server and automated credit or debit card authorization service. We store approval codes, but not credit card information, and credit card information must be re-entered for all future transactions. Where we have given you a password to access certain parts of our sites, you are responsible for keeping the password confidential. We restrict access to our members’ personal information to those employees, contractors, and agents who need to know that information to operate, develop, or improve our services.  Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.  Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our sites.  Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.  We are not responsible for circumvention of any settings or security measures contained on this website.

There are two types of information collection through this site – active and passive. Active collection usually involves information that you enter about yourself, including through use of site forms such as a “Contact Us” form; our on-line membership application; information, comments, and opinions entered by you as part of your participation in our discussion forums; and your selection and use of a password in our “Members” section. Passive information collection involves the use of tracking technology, such as “cookies,” that harvest information like IP addresses or surfing behavior. Our use of “cookies” and other tracking technology is discussed in greater detail below.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
